在從事法律工作之前,楊女士曾是AMGEN的分子和細(xì)胞生物部的研究員。她的博士論

文是在科羅拉多大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院完成的。楊女士曾單獨(dú)和與人合著了許多文章,并在國家

級(jí)刊物上發(fā)表,包括《分子細(xì)胞生物雜志》、《病毒學(xué)》、《當(dāng)代基因?qū)W》和《中國

張利LiZhang

張利自幼喜愛舞蹈,八歲起進(jìn)入上海芭蕾舞蹈學(xué)校,專攻正規(guī)古典芭蕾,畢業(yè)後,自一九七九年起任上海芭蕾舞團(tuán)主要演員,曾在“天鵝湖”、“唐吉柯德”、“吉賽爾”、“葛佩莉亞”、“胡桃夾子”等大型舞劇中擔(dān)任主角,出訪到法國、蘇聯(lián)、新西蘭、新加坡、古巴、香港等地演出,並多次在國內(nèi)和國際重大比賽中獲獎(jiǎng),被國家授與青年舞蹈家和一級(jí)演員的榮譽(yù)稱號(hào),尤其是再一九八八年參加法國第七屆國際古典芭蕾舞比賽中,以她獨(dú)特的優(yōu)美舞姿,一舉奪得雙人舞金獎(jiǎng)和最佳女演員獎(jiǎng)。一九九一年初,張利從大陸來到美國,先到舊金山芭蕾舞學(xué)院深造,後進(jìn)入洛杉磯古典芭蕾舞團(tuán),擔(dān)任主要演員。為了開創(chuàng)自己的芭蕾舞事業(yè),於一九九一年初她和她先生創(chuàng)辦了張利芭蕾舞室,培養(yǎng)了一批又一批芭蕾幼苗,並多次組織學(xué)生參加洛杉磯地區(qū)和全美國青少年舞蹈比賽,榮獲獎(jiǎng)牌。

LiZhang,therenownedballetdancer,enteredShanghaiBalletSchoolatageeight.In1979,aftergraduatingwithamajorinClassicBallet,Ms.ZhangbeganhercareerasamemberoftheShanghaiBalletGroup,andbecameoneoftheleadingballetdancers,playingtheleadingroleinmanyworldfamousballetpricessuchas"SwanLake","DonQuixote","TheNutcracker","Giselle",andmore.Ms.ZhanghasperformedinFrance,Russia,newZealand,Singapore,HongKongandCcuba,andhasreceivedmanyawardsindomesticandinternationalcompetitions.InChina,shehasbeenawardedtheprizeofPremierDancer.In1988,Mr.Zhangparticipatedinthe7thInternationalClassicBalletCompetitioninFranceandwontheprizeforBestBalletDancerandtheGoldenPlateawardforBalletDuet.Inearly1991,Ms.ZhangcametotheUntiedStatesandstudiedattheBalletInstituteofSanFrancisco.Later,sheperformedfortheClassicBalletGroupofLosAngelesinaleadingrole.In1993,Ms.ZhangandherhusbandMr.ZhiquanZhao(alsoaballetdancer)establishedLi'sDanceStudioandthusbegantheirowncareerasballetinstructors.Li'sDanceStudiohasgrownrapidlyduringthepastfouryears.Currently,theystudiohasabout10classesandover120studentsfromage6to16.Duringthesepastfewyears,studentsofLi'sDanceStudiohavelearnedmanytechniquesofballetdancethroughtheinspiredandefficientinstructionofMs.Zhangandherhusband.Thestudioholdsseveralperformancesfeaturingstudentsattheendofeachtermofstudy.ManystudentsfromLi'sDanceStudiohaveparticipatedinavarietyofmajorentertainmentactivitiesanddancecompetitionsintheLosAngelesarea.Theyhaveobtainedmanyawards,suchastwoSilverPlatesandoneBronzePlateintheUnitedStatesYouthBalletCompetitioninJuly1997.StudentsofLi'sDanceStudiohavegainedagreatdealofexperienceandimprovedtheirdancingskillsthroughthesedifferentactivitiesandcompetitions.Address:5839TempleCityBlvd.
