普渡大學(xué)中國學(xué)生學(xué)者聯(lián)誼會(huì)

普渡大學(xué)是全美所有大學(xué)中含最大中國學(xué)者群體的學(xué)校。PUCSSA是普渡大學(xué)里會(huì)員最多的非官方學(xué)生團(tuán)體。我們是由普渡大學(xué)的中國學(xué)生學(xué)者在大學(xué)正式注冊(cè)的一個(gè)非政治性、非盈利性的團(tuán)體。聯(lián)誼會(huì)的宗旨是為同學(xué)服務(wù)和促進(jìn)中美文化交流。

自1991年成立以來，聯(lián)誼會(huì)接待祖國來的新同學(xué)，歡慶中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日及國慶，組織應(yīng)時(shí)應(yīng)節(jié)的聚會(huì)和文體活動(dòng)，提供網(wǎng)絡(luò)聯(lián)系、信息服務(wù)和介紹保險(xiǎn)，為同學(xué)爭取團(tuán)體優(yōu)惠，保護(hù)會(huì)員權(quán)益，并且協(xié)助同學(xué)在新生登記、護(hù)照延期、婚姻手續(xù)以至突發(fā)事故與領(lǐng)事館聯(lián)系。聯(lián)誼會(huì)下屬多個(gè)球隊(duì)、卡拉OK俱樂部、DV俱樂部、舞蹈協(xié)會(huì)、樂隊(duì)，還是氣功、武術(shù)等全校性俱樂部的主要支持者。聯(lián)誼會(huì)積極促進(jìn)中美文化交流，參與本地多元文化活動(dòng)（食品節(jié)，全球文化節(jié)，國際學(xué)生節(jié)等），弘揚(yáng)中國文化，協(xié)助中國文化團(tuán)體訪問和學(xué)術(shù)交流。

PUCSSA已成為普渡大學(xué)八百多個(gè)學(xué)生團(tuán)體中服務(wù)與貢獻(xiàn)最顯著的其中一個(gè)。1997年11月，聯(lián)誼會(huì)被普渡大學(xué)有關(guān)方面授予最佳學(xué)生團(tuán)體獎(jiǎng)。

本會(huì)的主要工作由普渡在校師生義務(wù)擔(dān)任。每個(gè)留學(xué)生都有緊張的學(xué)業(yè)計(jì)劃。但是，每年都有部份同學(xué)擔(dān)任聯(lián)誼會(huì)執(zhí)委會(huì)和各個(gè)部門干事，義務(wù)為大家服務(wù)。他們對(duì)華人社區(qū)的貢獻(xiàn)帶動(dòng)起更多同學(xué)，組織起大家需要的活動(dòng)。
